All rights of the character belong to Square Enix of course... but the photography and actual sculpture is the property of some lady in Korea who made this life sized beauty. It took my breath away and was surprised I hadn't seen this before. As far as I know, it may be the only life-sized sculpture of Vincent Valentine. It appears that he is able to move his head too.

Or, rather, stacks of parasols, hanging from trees.

It took me too long to figure out how to manually set my camera to get these to not be horribly washed out, so I think I'm going to have to experiment more with night photography in the future.

I do not mind, however, because this picture turned out perfectly!

My images from the Beppu Sentoumyou festival (1,000 candles, I believe) in Beppu Park. At night, the candles were all lit, and the park began to glow like a fairy land with thousands of lanterns made by local school children, as well as a few larger art installations by contemporary artists in the area.
