Iberian wolf (Canis lupus signatus, vlk ibersky) from ZOO Olomouc, Czech republic :aww:

Recently I somehow developed a soft spot for black animals - and this Iberian wolf really pleased me with unnusually dark colouring

INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:

Name: Iberian wolf (Canis lupus signatus)
Location: Northern parts of Spain and Portugal
Size: 120-140 cm long weight: 40 Kg (male), 30 Kg (female)
Diet: wild boars, rabbits, roe deer, red deer, ibexes, fish, carcasses
Conservation status: vulnerable / endangered
Interesting facts: there are 1500 2000 Iberian wolves in Spain and 300-400 in Portugal | Iberian wolves mate during the end of winter or at the beginning of spring. After 63-65 days, mother gives birth to 3-6 pups | wolves live in the packs and they chase their prey. They tend to hunt old or ill animals, so they play very important role of the health police | Iberian wolves are threatened by poachers, by forest fires and because of losing their natural habitat.

Though this was taken quite awhile ago, I sadly have nothing brand new to show until after Katsucon ^^;

For the new year, I really plan on going back to anime cosplays and do Homestuck more sparingly. I also want to do another one of Ciel's costumes, preferably his Wonderland outfit :love:
