This is Henry aka "Knutschkugel" (really hard to translate, maybe something like "snogball" ... a cute nickname), a really cute little doggy and soooo fluffy. This is kind of crazy 'cause his mommy was a Perro sin Pelo del Peru - a naked dog! XD  But luckily he got the fur from his daddy, a long-haired Dachshund. He has is own mind and a bit too often you can see the Dachshund but while I'd shot him he was great.

I will be absent the next days, maybe til next week. Khalliysgraphy is going through hard times and I have to be the friend she always was to me. If you want to bring some light, leave her a nice comment with just some kindness Huggle!

Tank Girl

This is a character whom I like but know so little about. I've never read the comics, but the story of how I got to know about Tank Girl is always interesting to tell.

It all goes back to Jamie Hewlett's work with Damon Albarn on Gorillaz. As I got older and starting to do my own research and thinking, I'd been hearing so much about Hewlett's previous work on this comic, a bizarre and strange work that did become a feature length film starring Lori Petty (whom I've had a long-standing crush on since watching it).

I don't think Tank Girl's been reprinted in full here in the US. Maybe in the UK the books are far more prevalent, as a lot of my UK friends when I show them my figure custom are impressed that I even know about her. I dunno, maybe one of these days I'll really search ebay or Amazon and get trade paperback of her adventures as from what I've often scoped on Google the humor and anarchy of Tank Girl seems right up my alley.

yay facing my phobias :)
one of the darkroom photos I've done recently.  I still make a lot of them but a lot of them also suck so :).  I just missed posting them here.
I've also been trying to make them 800x800px because some sites will resize the 600x600 to that size automatically >>.

Ant Mimic Jumping Spider

Cool looking Ant mimic Jumping spider found at night in Singapore.

Quote from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myrmarac…
Myrmarachne is a genus of jumping spiders which imitate an ant by waving their front legs in the air to simulate antennae. Some species also look strikingly like ants.

Spiders in this genus are commonly called antmimicking spiders, although there are many other spiders that mimic ants.

The cephalothorax is elongated, with long chelicerae projecting forward in males. A waist is present on the cephalothorax, and often also on the opisthosoma. Colors vary from black to yellow, depending on the mimicked ant species. One African species was observed to mimick one species when immature, and another as an adult.

Myrmarachne mainly occurs in the tropics from Africa to Australia, with some species found in the New World. A few species, such as the palearctic M. formicaria, occur in temperate regions. With about 80 described and many undescribed southeast Asian species, it is the most diverse genus of jumping spider in this region.
