The Tapestry 2
The Dike area of Kebler Pass in Colorado shows off it's beautiful coat of Autumn colors of red, orange, yellow and gold. One of the things which really got me over my Fall trip is how quickly the light would change. I literally have a second version of this shot taken maybe 5 seconds later which although is identical, is also very different due to the lighting conditions. It has a very different look and feel about it and you can see it here on my websitejdebordphoto.zenfolio.com/fall… It's kind of crazy how seconds can matter so much when taking a photograph but that's photography for ya! Also, those orange-reds were a tough exposure, geeze....nailing it so they wouldn't overexpose was tough but I managed. Sometimes you just have to stand in awe in what you are photographing and take it all in and here I just did that...once again just left speechless at it all. What an amazing place to both experience and photograph!
