Eternal Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon cosplay photoshoot at Katsucon, featuring
~mnemosyneforgot cosplaying Tsukino Usagi / Eternal Sailor Moon

This is a composite of about 50 images.
~mnemosyneforgot is lit by a shoot-through umbrella w/ CTO gel to the left, and a bare flash held by ~ceraceratopian on the right. Since the flashes were in the frame, I took a separate picture of just the background with the equipment out of the way.
For the feathers... there's probably a brush for this, but I took pictures of feathers blown in the air by a fan. I didn't have suitable white feathers, only black ones. So, I shot them against a white flash-illuminated background, then inverted the colors. Many, many sets of feather images were combined to make the swirl.
Photography critique is welcome.

Tuscan Dawn, Hobitton Style!
This is a dawn shot taken along the lane from Hobitton, which for me looked at the time a bit like some the scenes I have seen of tuscany!
This is one of the last few photos that I may put up for the next few weeks, as I am on the move. But will be back as soon as I can.

Floating Angel
Here is another image from lower antelope canyon. This is one of the more popular spots to take photos and for good reason. It is one of the most beautiful spots in the canyon, and the size of the arch is quite impressive (although it does not show well here). The rich reds here are what really impressed me. I did not add any saturation to this image.

Her Imperial Luminescence
Her Imperial Luminescence, Aradia Megido.I had a really gr8 group of Hemostuck cosplayers at AUSA and it was really enjoyable taking photos with everyone! I did Empress Aradia's court outfit, as illustrated by RoachPatrol. There are still many changes I'd like to make to the costume before I wear it again, but generally I'm pretty happy with it. <3
As reference, Hemostuck is an AU by RoachPatrol and UrbanAnchorite, where the hemocaste is flipped, so seadwellers/magenta bloods are then the lowest end of the hemospectrum and rustbloods are royalty. There are two fics from the AU out right now, and theyre both really good reads. I highly recommend them!
