At a time when the Milwaukee Road's 4-4-2 streamlined Atlantic's were on their last wheels, passenger service still saw a number of steam-motive power on the mainline.
Here at downtown Milwaukee in Wisconsin '51, F-3 class 4-6-2 'pacific' no. 151 departs for Green Bay and northern Michigan with the Chippewa express in tow.

A small collection of some of my favorite snowflakes from last winter![:snowflake:]( "Snowflake")
Need to get my setup figured out for this winter. As much as I hate freezing my hands off, all of the annoyance of the cold melts away when beautiful flakes like these start falling! ![:excited:]( "OMG! I can't contain my excitement!")
A little about how these were shot:
Flakes were "caught" on a glass picture frame. A light was placed several feet below the frame, and I shot with the camera from above. Since this made the snowflakes a backlit silhouette, I inverted the images in Photoshop, converting their black silhouettes into a more traditional "white" snowflake![:nod:]( "Nod")
