Siren Outfit, Representation of the Element of Fire
Photoshoot: Myself and my wife, and two of our dearest friends went to Seattle in order to go to a convention known as Supernatural. We were overjoyed at some of the things we saw, and the time spent was well worth it- in the mid day of saturday, our friend ~blackfruitbat did some photography of our sirens, and vice versa. The pictures came out fabulous, but it has taken me some time to share them here. (I believe this costume may be well over a year or so old...shameful on my part I do believe.) This photo brings some sadness to me as in a way it represents a creature who is lost. While it may appear tranquil, it can be up to the interpretation of the viewer whether I am close to my death, or simply taking a short rest.
Costume: I want it to be stated here that I had next to no part in this costume, I was merely a model. The entire work, design, idea, concept, sewing skills, and wig styling was done by my own wife *Antiquity-Dreams Who also edited the background in order to appear endless. I believe I did next to no work in my memory, perhaps placing makeup on, but nothing next to that.
