1969 Shelby GT500 convertible, and this particular Shelby has quite the story to tell.
This Shelby was built for export and was shown at the Madrid Auto Show in Spain, but when it came time to import it back to the U.S. a judge wanted a 50% duty to be paid before the car could be brought back. Carroll Shelby went to court about it, and lost. The car was left in Spain and was driven till the engine blew, and was parked till 1996, when it was brought back to the U.S. and restored. The car was also featured in Motor Trend and that's where the story came from.
