This is a single image of Murphy's Haystacks (a different part of the rocky outcrop in the previously posted panorama)
It is located on Eyre Peninsula 40km from Streaky Bay (the closest large town in the area) which means the skies are pretty much pitch black.
The moon had not risen but was going to be a full moon so I had 1 hour to get off these shots before the stars would have been washed out.
It was kind of eerie in the dark alone but on the plus, if anyone approached by car, I would have seen them from miles away!
