[My boyfriend got me these gorgeous flowers for my birthday yesterday (well, I suppose it's technically two days ago since I'm uploading this so late), and I immediately knew I needed to use them in a photo, so, voila!
As a little girl, I certainly partook in the whole "he loves me, he loves me not" flower-demolishing game (mind you, I only did it once, and YES that is a point of pride for me![;P]( "Wink/Razz")
). I wiki'd it today and found out it is a game of French origin! Anyhoo, I remember thinking it was all so silly. That if I wanted, couldn't I just pluck another flower and play the game again, until I got the results I wanted? Yes. I could do exactly that. While the idea of fate has always been very mysterious and romantic to me, I do believe we have an unbelievable amount of control over who we are and what we do with life.]
