Trying out the tilt function of my 24 ts-e. I put the 1.4 extender on to get more pronounced tilt effects. Could have been too much as I had to focus stack it to get the background cityscape fully focused.

Canon 5d Mk 3 | Canon 24mm TS-E f3.5L | ISO 160 | f 3.5 | shutter speed: 5 secs focal length 24mm (multiple single exposure focus stack at full tilt with canon 1.4x Extender mk 3)

Remember when I would upload pictures of Budapest every once in a while, projecting that visiting this marvellous place was such an extraordinary experience? Well... I live there now.

At night, most parts of the city light up, and the most notable and remarkable buildings alongside river Danube reflect this gorgeous yellow glow. This building is our Parliament... And even if some disagree on the beauty of its inside or function, the outside is pure beauty.

What is the job of an artist? Well, there are plenty of them but one of the most important things a piece of art should tell some sort of a story. I don't really have a tendency of talking about my private life on the Internet but recently I noticed that I have been a part of this website for quite some years, and I can say that nearly 60-70% of that time I was inactive. There were many reasons - problems to face, depression to combat, my own path to discover. Those last 2-3 years were when I started picking up my pace and treating art seriously. A few days ago when I was suffereing from a major artblock, I asked myself: what do I want to do with my art? The answer was surprisingly simple - I just want to tell you stories. That's what I will try to do - with fanart we all know and love, with original art I have in my head, traditional or digital, it doesn't matter. I hope you enjoyed the stories I tried to tell you so far and I hope you will stick around to let me tell you a couple more

We still have snow! Actually there's so much of it that I had to dig up a snowshovel and get to work last night (that was quite the exercise). Today the temperature is below freezing too, so the snow was quite soft and not too wet. Plus there was lots of it to work with.

I took Kiyo out because she's been a sewing model and inbetween that job I'd put her in this simple white AS dress. Then, when it started snowing, I decided that it needed something more and put this chiffon cape/train thing on her (it was Hati's originally). It suits her so well. x3
