My art corner

So this is where I do all my art stuff. As you can see I’m fond of natural wood and listening to music loudly. :D

I work on a Wacom Cintiq 21UX (2. gen) mounted on an Ergotron monitor arm, which I’ve found far more flexible than the original Wacom stand. It’s also easier to push the display out of the way when you need extra room on your desk.

Few days ago I’ve made the decision I’m gonna sell the Cintiq, because I’m not very happy with the screen brightness adjustment possibilities. When I work with it at night, screen fully dimmed, having about 3 lights on, my eyes are burning awfully. :’( Did any of you have this problem?

Anyway, I’m waiting unpatiently for my new toy to arrive. It’s gonna be hard to say goodbye to my good old Cintiq pal after so many years of joy of working on it, but I know the new pen display will be a bit more advanced and I really hope my eyes will be happier.

What kind of digital device are you guys working on? What are your experiences?

My first week back to class has been successful and I have a weekend ahead full of work and creation.

This shot was done earlier in 2018 in the fall. The milk was incredibly cold and numbing, but very well worth it. She is one of my favorite artists to work with. This is also one of the rare shoots I have done without any makeup on.

An old metallic structure is the only visible thing of this ship...
Who knows the story of the crew and the reason of this sinking?
I guess we will never know ...

Experiment #3
I just say to myself: "Hey Daniel, you should practice more with Lightroom". And here's the result XDD  :omgomg: :omgomg:
To be honest, I'm surprised. I used my old Nikon waterproof to take this photo (below) when I was in my field work. Even I thought about deleted it but I thought It would be useful in the future... and ta dah!! After the edition process, it is ready for being in my gallery :XD::XD:
Untitled
I know it doesn't have a high quality because I used an old camera, but give it a chance, please :giggle:

Specie:White-Tailed Eagle
Location:Szczecin Lagoon, Poland

The white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), also known as the ern, erne, gray eagle, Eurasian sea eagle and white-tailed sea-eagle, is a large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae which includes other raptors such as hawks, kites, and harriers. They are found in Eurasia, near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting. They are considered a close cousin of the bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).

The white-tailed eagle is a very large bird. It measures 66–94 cm (26–37 in) in length with a 1.78–2.45 m (5.8–8.0 ft) wingspan. The wingspan, with a midpoint of 2.18 m (7.2 ft), is on average the largest of any eagle. The bald eagle is roughly the same size as the white-tailed eagle, although has a shorter average wingspan and usually longer total length, due to a longer tail.

This species has broad “barn door” wings, a large head and a large thick beak. The adult is mainly grayish-brown except for the slightly paler head and neck, blackish flight feathers, and distinctive white tail. All bare parts are yellow in color, including both the bill and the legs. In juvenile birds, tail and bill are darker, the tail becoming white with a dark terminal band in sub-adults.

Some individuals have been found to live over 25 years, 21 years being the average.
