We came across this building in The Kitchener area some years ago. I was never able to find out what it was. But if it is a house, all I can say is GREAT HOUSE. (It was raining while I was taking this picture so there are some water droplets on the lens filter ![:(]( ":( (Sad)")

L'Arrivee du Blumlisalp A Oberhofen
Le Blümlisalp est un bateau à aubes qui navigue sur la lac de Thoune dans l'Oberland Bernois en Suisse Alémanique. Il à été mis en service en 1906 et à été nommé ainsi en référence à un sommet des Alpes Bernoise non loin du lac. Il est mis hors-service en août 1971, mais grâce à l'association "Vaporama" il est sauvé du démantèlement. Et le 22 mai 1992 après 2 ans de rénovation il réalise un second voyage inaugural.

Die Blümlisalp ist ein Raddampfer der am Thunersee im Berner Oberland in der Schweiz fährt. Es wurde 1906 in Betrieb genommen und nach einem Gipfel in den Berner Alpen unweit des Sees benannt. Es wurde im August 1971 außer Dienst gestellt, aber dank der Vereinigung "Vaporama" wurde es renoviert. Und am 22. Mai 1992 machte er nach zwei Jahren Arbeit eine zweite Jungfernfahrt.
Das Foto wurde von der Terrasse des Restaurants "Pier 17" in der Gemeinde Oberhofen aufgenommen das 2018 zum " Das schönste Dorf der Schweiz" gewählt wurde.
