December 6th - Hammie
My Advent Calendar this year! I will post one photo per day of my current pets, no pet will be seen twice!
Species: Rattus Norvegicus
Common Name: Norwegian Brown Rat
Full Name: Alexander Hamilton
Nick: Hammie
Gender: Female
Age: 1 years
Born: 2017
Owned Since: October 7th 2017
Hammie is a bit timid, but very loving. She was rescued by her previous moma from horrible conditions! Someone had put up mazes with deadly traps to "see who survives" just for fun, probably dying painful deaths for the sake of entertainment![=( (Sad)]()
She rescued her and her cage mate Trash, and despite their past are absolutely loving! They come to you, begging for attention and treats.
Her moma was in a difficult life situation, and I offered to help. She keeps in touch and visits when she can =^_^=
I wasn't sure if I should use this image, cause the biggest difference between her and her sister is that Hammie has lots of grey, while her sister is all white. But in this photo you can't see any of the grey![:rofl:]( "rofl")
As part of the Calendar I'll also do a little snippet of the same animal and upload to YouTube![=)]( "=) (Smile)")
